A few snaps of today's Jane Austen Grand Regency Costumed Promenade, heralding the beginning of The Jane Austen Festival (Ironic when you realise that Jane Austen disliked Bath. She lived there for several years with her family after her father retired, and some critics argue that she found the place so depressing she was unable to work.)
But I'm sure she'd have loved today :-)

Lovely to see my dear friend Martin from The Jane Austen Centre escorting the young ladies around our beautiful city of Bath.
